Young and talented, Rebecca Chambers could have done anything with her life. Once she graduated from university at the age of 18 with an expertise in chemistry and biology, she decided to join the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) branch of the Raccoon City Police Department. Young, inexperienced and eager to please her more seasoned teammates, Rebecca was known to take any duty given even if it was not hers. She was technically Bravo team’s medical officer and rear security specialist. The latter responsibility would have kept her away from a lot of the fighting if things had gone differently.
Leon Scott Kennedy, the famous cop in Raccoon City, has been an object of interest to fans. This character’s most illustrious and distinctive attribute is his idealism which is so common to uncorrupted youth who have yet to realize and experience working for shady superiors. Leon S. Kennedy’s professional level as a beginner or a rookie did not hinder him from eventually becoming the top, and probably best, agent working for the United States government.
Claire Redfield is one of those individuals who is always on guard and always ready to defend herself. She was born on April 30, 1979, and grew up in Chicago with her brother, Chris. Other known relatives of Claire’s are her aunt Chawla and her niece Rani.
Her brother went on to serve as a police officer but Claire chose to go to college in New York and major in political science and journalism. These two majors have allowed Claire the ability to deduce critically and be able to handle every situation that life has thrown at her. Claire has been able to learn quite a bit about life through her experiences as a college student, a biker enthusiast and as a very skilled and competent zombie killer.
Chris Redfield is one of the most identifiable characters in the Resident Evil universe. While Chris may have undergone a serious redesign in recent games, he is still the same tough, no-nonsense hero he was when we first met him in the original Resident Evil game. Over the years, much more has changed for Chris Redfield beyond his looks, although those have seen a dramatic shift as well. When we first met Chris over a dozen years ago, he was a member of Raccoon City’s elite S.T.A.R.S team. When he first stumbled into that abandoned mansion and came face to face with the horrors unleashed by the Umbrella Corporation, Chris was just trying to survive. That all changed in Resident Evil: Code Veronica. When Umbrella embroiled his sister Claire in their schemes, the drive to rid the world of Umbrella became intensely personal to Chris; so much so that he would pursue the corporation across the world to Africa in Resident Evil 5.
Albert Wesker was a child prodigy born to unknown parents that were said to be very intelligent. Albert and many other children of his intellectual pedigree were brought to the Umbrella Corporation. They became part of the Wesker project. Wesker was far more gifted than the other children, which attracted the attention of the company’s founder, Oswell E. Spencer. Spencer saw something special in Wesker and took great interest in his schooling. Wesker went into the service of the Umbrella Corporation after Spenser saw to it that he finished his schooling quickly.
