Dead Space 2
Dead Space 2 was developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts. Dead Space 2 is the sequel to the previously successful game: Dead Space. In Dead Space 2, you play Isaac Clarke, who was an engineer aboard the USG Ishimura. He has just awoken after three years and has discovered that the whole ship has been taken over by Necromorphs. He is located on a space station, which is known as the Sprawl. He is constantly fighting off the insanity that he obtained from his dead girlfriend Nicole. The game shows a truly unique horror experience because of the Necromorphs that Isaac encounters while on board the Sprawl. These Necromorphs are truly horrifying creatures. They feature extra limbs, which are sharpened towards the tip. They run very fast and often appear in numbers and can give you quite a fright.
Call of Fear
The most dysfunctional brothers in the history of gaming, Point Man and his dead brother, are back. They will have to battle against the force of an evil corporation and the impending arrival of another sibling. Call of Fear is back with all the elements that fans of the game series would anticipate. Developer Day 1 Studios took over the development of the game from Monolith and has seemingly applied what they’ve learned from their personal experience of developing Fear Files inclusions. While Fear Files didn’t align the series with balance, Call of Fear 3 is definitely one heck of a game, combining full packed action with exciting and creepy gameplay.

Penumbra: Overture
Penumbra: Overture, is the kind of game that can make even some of the most jaded gamers feel a sense of fear and dread as they move through the darkened corridors of the game. Within the first few minutes of the game, the player finds that they are in some uncharted, unknown, and desolate facility somewhere beneath the frozen landscape of an uninhabited part of Greenland. Both the player and the character, Philip, have absolutely no idea what to expect when journeying to the place that Philip’s father told him (in a letter) not to go anywhere near, for undisclosed reasons.

Kuon
Kuon is a unique survival-horror game set in a dimly lit, monster-filled mansion during the Heian period in Japan. You begin the game by selecting one of two “phases” through which to play. In the Ying Phase, you play as Utsuki who, along with her sister, is looking for her missing father. Their father, Doman, was previously sent to Lord Fujiwara’s manor to perform an exorcism. However, the game quickly provides a twist as Utsuki’s sister, Kureha, is quickly enchanted away by a mysterious song as soon as the game begins. Upon selecting the Yang Phase, you will play as the young exorcist Sakuya, who was sent to Lord Fujiwara’s mansion as one of Doman’s disciples. Depending on which character you choose, you will experience a different part of this survival-horror game’s complex and disturbing plot.
Call of Duty: Black Ops
There is a certain intrigue to violence. Violence can often be comical and funny. The Child’s Play franchise, which starred the infamous Chucky, are only thought of as horror films because of their reliance on a kind of charismatic, yet dark humor found throughout the entire franchise. Fortunately for its fans, there does exist horror that is pure, unadulterated and systemically poised to shock an audience with its grim reality. The Call of Duty franchise has succeeded for a various number of reasons. To start with, each game is very entertaining. However, one might question the game’s entertainment value and wonder why these games are found to be so enthralling? You can argue their accessibility to be one of the main contributing factor, but it is quite apparent that there’s more to it than that. Overall, the Call of Duty franchise offers its fans a dark and realistic horror experience provided in a highly entertaining format; it is because of these reasons that the games have become as popular as they have.
Killing Floor
Killing Floor was developed and published by Tripwire Interactive and is considered to be the team’s most successful horror game to date.
