Survival Horror Games

Young and talented, Rebecca Chambers could have done anything with her life. Once she graduated from university at the age of 18 with an expertise in chemistry and biology, she decided to join the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) branch of the Raccoon City Police Department. Young, inexperienced and eager to please her more seasoned teammates, Rebecca was known to take any duty given even if it was not hers. She was technically Bravo team’s medical officer and rear security specialist. The latter responsibility would have kept her away from a lot of the fighting if things had gone differently.

During a mission to investigate a series of cannibalistic murders in 1998, Rebecca and her S.T.A.R.S. team had to make an emergency landing in the Raccoon forest due to a helicopter malfunction that turned out to be less than an accident. Rebecca and her team discovered that a train belonging to the Umbrella Corporation was filled with people who had been exposed to the T-virus and turned into zombies. Necessity forced her into making a temporary alliance with Billy Coen, an escaped convict who was on his way to the death house when the incident happened.

Despite the necessity of the cop and criminal joining forces, Rebecca and Billy fought their way free of the situation. Billy later left in search of freedom and a new life as he ran off into the trees while Rebecca saw a mansion further down the ridge and remembered a teammate telling her about it. Hoping to join up with the rest of Bravo team and to find some rest after the grueling incident she’d just gone through, Rebecca made her way to the manor.

Rebecca found several members of her team and part of the Alpha team that had been called in to rescue them. However, it all turned out into yet another nightmare filled with monsters and betrayal where Rebecca and the other S.T.A.R.S. members had to fight to get free.

Although Rebecca Chambers’ last official act as a police officer was to discuss the “death” of Billy Coen, it doesn’t mean that she faded away entirely. According to some sources, Rebecca has made her way in the world as a survivor, getting into dangerous missions that need a woman with particular talents.
